There are cities where the Kingdom of Darkness is prevailing and people are dying hopeless, alone, and broken. Many believers have not fully been living a life on mission & we have failed to be The Church in some of the darkest parts of our cities. There are parts of cities that have been historically ignored by the church and society, leaving people to live out generational cycles of poverty, crime, addiction, and fatherlessness, and leaving many lonely and unfulfilled. In these places, people have not understood God's purpose for their lives so they find themselves in destructive patterns of brokenness.

God's heart is for the broken and lonely to find purpose in His family. God wants people to break free of destructive patterns and find purpose and fulfillment in Him. God is looking for people who will say ‘yes’ and live life on mission as a lifestyle and not an event. City Takers is helping people step into the fullness of God's purpose by being the hands and feet of Jesus while living life on mission 24/7.

City-takers is raising up urban missionaries who reach, restore and activate believers, planting micro-churches where people can bring their unique expression into the context of a spiritual family and have greater impact together.

When City Takers activates The Church to be on mission, confident in their God given identity and purpose, the Kingdom of God advances and destructive patterns are overcome where darkness formerly ruled.
